Personal

A little about me- the person. Not a lot to do with work, but if I wanted to get to know me a bit better- I'd start start here.

About

I began as a developer. I coded websites and web applications, finally took an interest in CMS and worked as a programmer for a CMS company.

I then switched gears and turned to a more business oriented role doing sales- but because of my technical background, I doubled as a Business Analyst. I continued working as a Sales Associate in different capacities- even though my strengths lay more in Account Management, as opposed to hunting. I also found a talent for marketing, and took on some responsibilities in that respect.

I worked as a consultant for a few months and got some interesting projects- one exploring marketing further by creating a marketing entry strategy for a bath and beauty care products client. Another contract was with a high tech firm requiring a strategy for seed finance.

I then worked as a sales and marketing manager for a hosting company and then as Business Development Manager for a web application services company before moving to Ireland to do at MBA at The Michael Smurfit School of Business.

After graduation I worked at one of the top 5 web firms in Ireland as a Project Manager, and then returned to Toronto, Canada to continue my career as a high tech project manager. I did a contract for a CMS company, before taking on a role as Operations Manager for an eLearning company- which then was bought.

I have exceptional communication skills, I am great with people- clients as well as team members, and am adept at working with difficult client.

I am organized, have good technical as well as business savvy, and am a team player who can lead, and have the ability to work with both strategy and minutia.

I am honest, ethical, hardworking and loyal. I have a quirky sense of humor, and my hobbies include running (I’ve run a few marathons) and economics.
